About Valorin.net
Valorin.net is the creation of Stephen Rees. It was started originally as a way to avoid studying for exams, and has grown over the years. This design is the sixth evolution of the website, and features the new Arendorian Portal v3 as the Content Management System behind it.
This design was written to refresh the existing design, at the time, which used the same colour scheme but had some rough edges. The HTML was completely re-designed from scratch, and uses heavy CSS to give it its look.
If you are here with a wide-screen monitor, you will notice the dark-purple border around the content. This was chosen mostly because its such an underrated, and underused colour in web-design. In this case, it provides a nice subtle contrast to the black background.
