I have been building websites and writing scripts since 2002, when I started to build my own website. Over the years I've worked on many different websites, most of which are no longer online; and a lot of scripts both big and small.
I am currently working at AussieHQ as the Lead Systems Developer, where I write and maintain most of our internal and customer-use systems.
My language of choice is PHP5, with MySQL, HTML, CSS and Javascript. My current editor of choice is Eclipse running PDT (PHP Developer Tools), running on a linux apache webserver.
Pot of Gold is the new (and final) version of RAINBOW, which is the Arts and Crafts Database for the Yarralumla Uniting Church. It is a complete re-write in Zend Framework and Javascript to make it a lot easier to setup and use.

My wife and I usually have dinner with friends each week in town, but it was always an effort to decide were to go each week. To combat that, I developed the Coffee script that would email each person on Monday with a randomly selected location and ask them if they are coming to coffee. It would then notify the group on the coffee day who is coming so a table could be booked.

The version of my website before this version - it hung around for many years, but it was never as easy to update as I wanted and felt cluttered.
This design was written to refresh the existing design, at the time, which used the same colour scheme but had some rough edges. The HTML was completely re-designed from scratch, and uses heavy CSS to give it its look.
If you are here with a wide-screen monitor, you will notice the dark-purple border around the content. This was chosen mostly because its such an underrated, and underused colour in web-design. In this case, it provides a nice subtle contrast to the black background.

As a hosting company AussieHQ required a fleetwide auditing system to check that we are providing all products that have been purchased, and that we are billing all products that we are supplying.
It needs to intract with Plesk, cPanel, and other hosting systems to retrieve its data as well as our billing systems currently running WHMCS.

The AussieHQ Domain Managment system is a way for AussieHQ's customers to manage their domain names, and for resellers to sell and manage domain names to/for their customers.
I developed and work on this system as part of my job at AussieHQ - alongside other developers to have also worked upon this system.

This is a design concept for the database system I am building for SU ACT (Scripture Union ACT). My aim is to use this design for the system, however, at the moment it only exists as a static dummy page.

This is the website for one of my bands, the South Canberra Youth Wind Orchestra. It's pretty simple at the moment, mostly because I have a 'simple-is-best' design method. I will be doing more work on it, but for now it is looking good.

InFullSwing is the Big Band I play in, and thus it fell to me to design a new website to update the existing one. I was playing around and came up with this design, it was designed to be simple, but stylish. Which I believe it does quite well.
Big thanks go to CSSPlay for the menu :)
I also built this as a way to test Portalv3 which is almost ready for an Alpha release. A few bugs were found, and I am happy so say the Portal is working well.

This site is no longer online.
Basically a Web-hub for Stargate Related Virtual Series' which can be found on the web. It still needs a heap of work, but its getting there, and the admin interface is working quite well.
This is the new design for this website!
I am using Cutenews to great effect to get the news and features stuff working.

This is the old old design of this website. It is a great design which worked well to keep the simplicity in the design, while giving an elegant feel to the site. I used the same colour scheme for this design, just tweaked the layout a lot and changed the back-end code.
That design grew over many months slowly into what it is, rather then being designed and built in one weekend.

ACSdb = Arts and Crafts database; RAINBOW = v1 product name Each year my church runs a huge Arts and Crafts show. For over 15 years we've been using an old Apple Classic II, so last year (2005) I decided it was time to upgrade the system. I built the ACSdb prototype, which we used on the show. It had no major bugs!
ACSdb "RAINBOW" is intended to be v1 of the database system. Due to the nature of the database I cannot provide links to it, but when it reaches version 1 I might release it into the public domain.
The interface is designed to be easy to use, and compatiable with old hardware.
