My Proof that Weston Creek is indeed in the center of Canberra!

Firstly, what you need to understand is what I define Canberra and its limits as. Canberra is the city/town which stretches from one end of Belconnen to the other end of Tuggeranong. Now, this does not include the little settlements past Tuggers, nor does it include anyting north of the border AKA Gungalahin which imho is too far out of Canberra to be considered a part of Canberra, and anyone who lives out there needs to move (to Weston Creek)!

You can see from that easily that Weston Creek is roughly the center, as it is between Belconnen and Tuggers. Ok, So now you are saying that it isn't in the center-center, however, notice the rough outline of Canberra, its long and mostly thin. This means that anyone who lives in the middle band of Canberra is in the center of Canberra. This next image shows the rough times it takes to get to the different parts of Canberra.

As you can see, it takes around 25 minutes maximum to get to any part of Canberra. Impressive eh? It is basically the center of a Semi-circle which is Canberra... Hey, thats a good arguement!

Weston Creek is the Center of the Semi-Circle that is Canberra.

Anyway, back onto the proof.

You have seen Geographically that Weston Creek is in the Center of Canberra, and that it takes equal time to get to each end and side of Canberra. But... How do you get there? It's time to look at the roads.

Weston Creek is blessed with being next to two main roads which take you anywhere you need to go in Canberra, well almost anywhere. The next image shows a rough marking of where they go, and prove that you can take these two roads to get anywhere easily. Also, it should be mentioned that the one which goes North-South is the big 100km parkway in Canberra which everyone uses, and Weston Creek is almost exactly half-way from one end to the other.

So yeah, thats about it. I have proved Geographically and Road-ically (got a better word for it?) that Weston Creek is the Center of Canberra.
